Monday 23rd - Narcoleptic

We finish our mad itinary in Sydney and rush back the airport...international departures.

Unaware that the hells angels and another aussie biker gang have been killing each other in the domestic departures lounge! We were waiting for our gate to open and saw it on the news, unaware it was our airport...it looked brutal.

We didn't realise it was all kicking off a 5 minute walk away from where we were sitting ...until Rob sent us a link on facebook! (we did wonder why the airport staff were grumpy wankers!)

We get on our last haul to Auckland, and by now we are shattered! We've been travelling for days without laying down to go to sleep!

As i get on the flight i try to watch the safety video and the airhostess' getting their groove on, but wake up and dinners being served! I slept through everything! including take off! I manage to force down the chicken and rice, and the very strong vodka oj (thankyou Mr AA) before falling asleep with dinner tray on lap!

Arrive in auckland at midnight...sarahs pregnant feet were causing her alot of jip! I did offer the wheelchair, but shes hardcore. We felt like celebrities when Tanua and Paul came to suprise us at the airport (it wasn't a suprise...stupidly Tanya left a facebook comment something along the lines of...' hahaha were coming to see you at the airport and you don't know, its a big suprise!' STUPID BITCH)

She waited for a good few hours while we tryed declaring dime bars and wicka baskets through customs!

Then she kindly..(although probably regrets) took us back to our hostel. (scenic route) We got lost in the ghetto of auckland.

Tanua and pauls van is very funny...it has an old school stick shift and its most definately a bicep builder when turning corners with the truck wheel.

When asked if she'd named the van Tanya snapped...'YEAH...PIECE OF SHIT'

This would have been hilarious if we weren't sleeping with our eyes open.

We eventually arrived at the hostel...so excited to sleep, but this was where the big adventure carried on...
